* Phuong Nam Cultural Company (PNC) will pay a cash dividend ofVND2,000 per share for 2018 in the fourth quarter of this year after seven years of no dividend for its shareholders. According to Viet Capital Securities Company, PNC’s most recent dividend payment was made in June 2011 with VND500 per share for 2010. The firm has raised its 2018 profit target to more than VND162 billion, eight times higher than the previous target, while reducing its revenue target by 7.4% to VND741 billion compared to the earlier goal. PNC made an audited consolidated net profit ofVND7. 77 billion in the first half of this year, against a loss ofVND5.96 billion a year earlier.

* Coteccons Construction Company (CTD) has signed a contract with Timberland Company to build Timberland Manwah Binh Duong factory. The VND1.5-trillion contract will be conducted in 270 days.

* Vietnam Power Development Company (VPD) made a net profit ofVND52 billion on revenue ofVND258.6 billion in the first half of 2018, up 89.6% and 15.3% year-on-year, respectively. It has announced to spend VNDI02.5 billion paying a dividend ofVND1,000 per share for 2018 on the record date of October 10. Currently, VPD has 102.49 million outstanding shares. The company will make the payment on October 31.

* SMC Trading Investment Company (SMC) will pay an interim dividend of VND600 per share for 2018 on the record date of October 15. Currently, SMC has 54.6 million outstanding shares. The company will make the payinent on October 26.

* Hestia Company (HSA) has decided to issue 3.1 million shares in a private placement to pay its debts. The firm will conduct the issuance within 90 days after it obtains approval from the State Securities Commission.

* Pyn Elite Fund has finished the sale of over eight million shares of IB Securities Company (VIX), or a 9.98% stake in the enterprise. The investor is expected to earn VND72. 7 billion from the divestment. Currently, VIX has two maior shareholders including FTG Vietnam Company with a 21.49% stake, or 17.4 million shares, and Chairwoman Nguyen 1hi Tuyet with 5.71 %, equal to over 4.6 million shares.
