* Truong Anh Tuan, chairman of the board of directors at Hoang Quan Consulting-Trading-Service Real Estate Corporation (HQC), will buy 10 million HQC shares from May 9 to June 9. If the transactions are done, his ownership at the firm would rise to over 30 million HQC shares, or a 6.37% stake. Also, Nguyen Thanh Van, head of the firm’s Supervisory Board, has registered to buy one million HQC shares in the same period, to increase his holding at HQC to over 2.7 million shares, or 0.58%.

* Petrolimex Gas Corporation – JSC (PGC) has announced May 24 as the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive a 2018 cash dividend at 20%. The payment date is June 26.

* Gelex Electric Equipment Co., Ltd earlier registered to buy two million shares from its subsidiary Electrical Equipment JSC (THI) on April 24 via put-through deals, but finally managed to acquire over 788,000 THI shares. The transactions helped raise the investor’s holding at THI to over 35 million shares, equal to an 80.31 % stake.

* Tri Viet Securities JSC (TVB) has approved a plan to issue over 24 million shares for its existing shareholders at a ratio of 1-for-1 The selling price of each share is worth VND10.000.

* May 17 has been chosen as the ex-dividend date for shareholders of Pha Lai Thermal Power JSC (PPC) to receive a remaining 2018 dividend in cash at 12%. The thermal power operator will make the payment from June 4.

* Tasco JSC (HUT) made VND319 billion in revenue in the first quarter of 2019 up some 5% year-on-year, but it had the negative after-tax profit of VND 13.6 billion. Revenues from various business activities in the quarter dropped, except for that from construction contracts which rose to VND141 billion from the year-ago VND17 billion.
