* Hoa Binh Construction Group JSC (HBC) has announced its cooperation with Myanmar-based Halcyon Infrastructures Group Company Limited to establish a firm, called Halcyon Hoa Binh Construction (H&H). HBC will contribute US$850,000, or an 80% stake in the firm. The new firm H&H will offer construction services and relevant services legally allowed in Myanmar, according to

* Binh Duong Mineral and Construction JSC (KSB) has been granted a license for its mining activities at Tan Dong Hiep rock pit in the southern province of Binh Duong. The firm is allowed to mine on an area of over 220,000 square meters until the end of the year, with permitted mining volume of 4.68 million cubic meters.

* Coteccons Construction JSC (CTD) has selected September 26 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2018 cash dividend at 30% for shareholders. The record date is September 27 and the payment is scheduled for October 11.

* Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPB) on September 18 will offload 30% of its employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) shares that it issued last year, equivalent to over 5.18 million shares.

* Le Manh Thuong, a board member at Long Hau Corporation (LHG), registered to buy one million LHG shares from September 7 to October 3. Once the transactions are done, he will spur his ownership at LHG to over 1.01 million shares, or a 2.02% stake.

* The PAN Group JSC (PAN) has sought shareholder approval to sell a maximum 14.8 million PAN shares via a private placement, with each share being priced at VND55,000 or higher. The group is set to sell the shares to Sojitz Corporation or subsidiaries of Sojitz

* September 26 has been chosen as the ex-dividend date for shareholders at Ha Tien Transport JSC (HTV) to receive a 2018 cash dividend at 15%. The payment date will be October 24.

* La My Phuong, an individual investor, on August 29 bought 1.15 million shares of Tien Phong Securities Corporation (ORS) and became a major shareholder at the firm, with her current ownership of 2.05 million ORS shares, or a 5.13% stake.
