* Hai An Transport and Stevedoring JSC (HAH) posted VND289 billion in revenue in the second quarter of 2018, up 21 % from a year earlier. However, its net profit dropped 6% to VND42 billion. In the first half of this year, the firm made a net profit of VND76 billion on revenue of VND524 trillion, down 2.5% and up 6% year-on-year, respectively.

* Nam Viet Corporation (ANV) said its export revenue rose 25.4% year-on-year to US$11.8 million in July. The seafood exporter made a consolidated net profit of VND353 billion on net revenue of VND 1.97 trillion in the first half of this year, up 86.56% and 17.29% from a year earlier, respectively.

* PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS) plans to make a 2018 third round dividend in cash for shareholders at 13% and advance a 2019 dividend at 10%. The payment will be made in the third quarter of this year.

* Do An Tu, general director of Hung Thinh Incons JSC (HTN), intends to purchase 100,000 HTN shares, which accounts for a 0.35% stake in the firm, via matching and put-through transactions between August 15 and September 3. Currently, he does not own any HTN shares.

* Van Phu Invest Investment JSC (VPI) has chosen August 20 as the record date for a 2018 dividend in cash at 16%. The payment is slated for September 19.

* Chu Viet Cuong, a member of the board of directors at Vietlet Aviation JSC (VJC), wants to offload 100,000 VJC shares via matching and put-through transactions between August 15 and September 14. If successful, his holding will be reduced to 68,000 VJC shares.

* VI Partners LLC, a shareholder of Gem adept Corporation (GMD), failed to offload more than 190,000 GMD shares, which were intended for sale between July 11 and August 8.

* Hai Minh Corporation (HMH) earned VND64.5 billion in revenue and VND5.73 billion in net profit in the first half of 2019, meeting 47.7% and 51.9% of its entire-year targets, respectively. The transport firm aims for VND62. 7 billion in revenue and VND5. 73 in net profit in the second half of the year.
