* F&N Dairy Investments Pte. Ltd, a major shareholder of Vietnam Dairy Products JSC (VNM), has registered to buy over 17.41 million VNM shares from September 16 to October 15. Once the transactions are done, F&N will raise its ownership to 318.91 million VNM shares, or an 18.31 % stake, from the current 301.49 million shares. Previously, F&N failed to buy the given amount of VNM shares from August 13 to September 11.

* Ben Thanh Trading & Service JSC (BTT) has approved a capital contribution plan to establish a new firm, named Vinh Loc-Ben Thanh Service JSC whose charter capital is VND68 billion. BTT will contribute VND13.6 billion to the new firm to hold a 20% stake, Cafef.vn reported.

* Thien Long Group Corporation has invested an additional VND230 billion in its subsidiaries. Of this, the nation’s leading stationery group pumped VND 100 billion into its factories, while the remainder was used for its business activities.

* La My Phuong, a major shareholder of Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation (VNE), purchased over 1.75 million VNE shares on September 9 via put-through deals. After the transactions, she has raised her ownership at the firm to over 6.59 million shares, or an 8.05% stake.

* Stic Pan-Asia 4th Industry Growth Private Equity Fund from. September 6 to 11 bought 4.5 million shares of Taseco Air Services JSC (AST), equivalent to a 10% stake, and became a major shareholder of AST

* Southern Gas Trading JSC (PGS) has passed a plan to take out loans worth a combined VND150 billion from credit institutions, with loan terms less than 12 months to supplement its circulating capital.

* German insurer HDI Global SE, a major shareholder of PVI Holdings, purchased over 2.8 million PVI shares on September 3 via put through deals, to spur its ownership to over 94.87 million PVI shares, or a 41.05% stake.

* Nguyen Tran Trung Son, a son of Nguyen Tien Dung as the board chairman of National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NVB), will buy 1.15 million NVB shares from September 13 to September 30. Son currently holds no shares at the bank.
