* An Giang Fisheries Import Export JSC (AGF) targets a profit of VND22 billion on revenue of VND880 billion in its fiscal year 2020 beginning October 1, 2019. In 2020, the tra fish (pangasius) procesor aims to produce 5,000 tons of raw materials and export output of 5,200 tons worth some US$16 million. In its fiscal year 2019, the company incurred a loss of VND112 billion, marking the third consecutive year of posting losses, while its revenue reached VND807 billion. AGF suffered an accumulative loss of VND382 billion as of September 30, 2019, higher than its registered capital of VND281 billion.

* Doan Toi, Chairman of Nam Viet Corporation (ANV), plans to buy 2.8 million ANV shares between December 16 and January 14 to raise his holding in Vietnam’s major seafood exporter to 52.77%, equal to 67.3 million shares, from the current 50.58%. ANV made a net profit of VND506 billion on revenue of VND3.1 trillion in the first nine months of this year, up 65% and 13% year-on-year, respectively.

* Dong Phu Rubber JSC (DPR) will spend VND299 billion to pay the first dividend of VND5,000 per share for 2019. The company will make the payment on March 30, next year. DPR made a consolidated net profit of VND120 billion on net revenue of VND448 billion in the first nine months of this year, down 39.1 % and 13.4% year-on-year, respectively.

* PetroVietnam Power Corporation (POW) announced a strong November 2019 sales volume of two billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year ri e of 25.5%, while its volume growth this year to date posted 8.6%. The robust sales volume was mainly driven by increased output at POW’s thermal power plants, especially the Vung Ang coal-fired power plant in the north-central province of Ha Tinh.

* Sonadezi Long Binh JSC has received approval from the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) to list 30 million shares for the first time on the HNX with the code SZB on December 20. SZB shares will be traded at a reference price of VND30,000 each, equal to the company’s capitalization of VND720 billion. The company made a net profit of VND77 billion on revenue of VND253 billion between January and September this year, up 1 % and 4% from a year earlier, respectively.
