* Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Company (SBT) has announced a plan to issue 44.47 million shares in a private placement. The sugar enterprise will sell the shares to foreign strategic investors at between VND30,000 and VND45,000 per share.

* Khang An Investment Real Estate Company (KAC) is collecting opinions from its shareholders to raise the registered capital by 2.5-fold to VND600 billion. Besides, the firm is also seeking approval from shareholders for a plan to sell a part of its Khang An – Phu Huu residential project in HCMC to An Viet Land Housing Company.

* Materials- Petroleum Company (COM) will spend VND56.5 billion paying an interim dividend of VND4,000 per share for 2018 on the record date of December 24. The payment will be made on January 4, 2019. Earlier, COM paid an interim dividend ofVND1,000 per share for 2018 to its shareholders.

* Vietnam National Petroleum Group (PLX) has registered to sell 12 million shares out of its total 135 million treasury shares, equivalent to a 1 % stake after the sale. Previously, it planned to sell 60 million treasury shares. The transaction time will be from December to the first quarter of2019. PLX will use the proceeds to finance its core business expansion.

* Thac Ba Hydropower Company (TBC) will spend VND95 billion paying an interim dividend ofVND1,500 per share for 2018 on the record date of December 26. The firm will make the payment on February 20, 2019. TBC said its net profit rose 19% year-on-year to VND152.5 billion on revenue ofVND282.5 billion in the January-September period this year, which increased 13%.

* Gia Lai Electricity Company (GEG) said its consolidated net profit and net revenue were VND134 billion and VND361.9 billion in the January-September period this year, down 3% and 2% year-on-year, respectively. Earlier, GEG announced to collect opinions from its shareholders for a plan to move the listing of 194 million shares to the Hochiminh tock Exchange from the market for unlisted public enterprises, or UPCoM. Recently, GEG booked over VND970 billion of proceeds from the issuance of 97.1 million shares to its shareholders to raise its registered capital.
