* FPT Retail Company (FRT) will begin trading 40 million shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange on April 26 at a starting price ofVND 125,000 each. Its FPT Shop and F. Studio store chains have a combined 475 outlets.

* Dien Quang Company (DQC) is seeking shareholder approval to buy back up to 6.9 million shares, equivalent to 22 percent of outstanding shares, as treasury shares. If the transaction is done, DQC will raise its total treasury shareholding from the current 3.1 million shares to 10 million shares.

* Power Construction Company (PC1) has proposed a share dividend oflOO-for-15 for 2017 and a ratio oflOO-for-20 for this year. The company also plans to develop several new projects worth at least $53 million, including Dien Bien and Song Nhiem hydropower plants, and a real estate project inHanoiCity. These projects are expected to come into operation in 2020.

* The management of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (PLX) is seeking approval for a cash dividend ofVND3,OOO per share for 2017. It targets a cash dividend of at least VND1,200 for this year.

* The Southern Rubber Industry Company (CSM) looks to a dividend of at least 5 percent in 2018. CSM expects to manufacture 1.79 million automobile tires this year, up 57 percent against last year.

* Noi Bai Cargo Terminal Service Company (NCT), a cargo handling service provider at oiBaiInternationalAirportinHanoi, aims to earn net

profit ofVND221 billion from estimated revenue ofVND718 billion in 2018, down 19.7 percent and 3.3 percent versus last year respectively. It attributed the lower targets to the fierce competition with other transport firms, said Viet Capital Securities Company. It plans to invest VND60 billion in other companies sharing the same operations to support its business activities.

* Van Thong Construction and Investment Companyraised VND 154 billion from a sale of 9.4 million shares at its initial public offering on Tuesday. There were 41 investors joining the auction, bidding for a total volume of27.1 million shares.
