* Over 32 million shares of Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (ICT) were listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange on January 15. The share on the debut date changed hands at VND23,100, resulting in its capitalisation of over VND717 billion. Nguyen Tri Dung, board chair of ICT, said that ICT is set to obtain consolidated revenues at VND4 trillion for 2020, with pre-tax profit of VND200 billion and after-tax profit of VND160 billion, up nearly 57 percent year-on-year, reported Dau tu chung khoan newspaper.

* Ho Minh Quang, board chair of Nam Kim Steel JSC (NKG), bought 2.65 million NKG shares between December 16 and January 14 via order-matching transactions to raise his ownership in the company to over 21.46 million shares, or an 11.79 percent stake.

* MB Capital, a major shareholder of Petrolimex Gas CorporationJSC (PGC), has registered to buy one million PGC shares from January 20 to February 18 via order-matching and put-through deals. Once completed, MB Capital will increase its holding in the gas firm to over 5.97 million shares, or a 9.91 percent stake.

* Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) is expediting its investment in a wind power plant project in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh, with total capital of VND2.12 trillion, according to

* Saibu Gas Co., Ltd, a Japanese gas company, has purchased nearly 19 million shares of PetroVietnam Low Pressure GAS Distribution JSC (PGD), or a 21 percent stake. The change in ownership took effect from January 10.

* CONSTREXIM No.8 Investment and Construction JSC (CX8) has announced February 7 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2018 cash dividend of 3.5%. The record date is February 10 and the payment date is scheduled for March 20.

* Nguyen Thi Le and Nguyen Thi Oanh, two large shareholders of Wall Street Securities JSC (WSS), respectively sold over 2.54 million and 2.6 million WSS shares on January 8.

* Asia Commercial JSC (ACB) wrapped up the year 2019 reaping VND7.5 trillion in profit, which is 3 percent higher than its target set in early 2019 at VND7.279 trillion.
