* Viet Capital Securities Company (VCl) has announced to issue one million shares under an employee stock ownership plan at VND20,OOO each. The shares are not to be transferred within one year from the issuance date. VCI plans to conduct the plan in the third quarter after obtaining approval from the State Securities Commission, thus raising its capital to over VND1.6 trillion. VCI share price has slumped nearly 40% over the past three months to around VND53,OOO per share.

* Ben Tre Aquaproduct Import and Export Company (ABT) earned a net profit ofVND29.4 billion on revenue ofVND106.5 billion in the second quarter of this year, up 525.5% and 29.4% year-on-year, respectively. ABT will pay an interim dividend ofVND3,OOO per share for 2018 in August. It aims at a pretax profit ofVND48 billion on revenue ofVND400 billion in 2018.

* Southern Waterborne Transport Corporation (SWC) earned a net profit ofVND28 billion on revenue ofVND58 billion in the second quarter of the year, up 125% and 44.7% year-on-year, respectively. Its financialincome plummeted 87.3% to VND75 billion between January and June. SWC will pay a dividend ofVND2,OOO per share for the first tranche of2018. SWC, 84.39% owned by SOTRANS Infrastructure Investment Company, mainly operates in waterway transport, cargo handling, engineering and shipbuilding and
design consultancy.

* Artex Securities Company (ART) plans to raise its registered capital to over VND 1.4 trillion and move its listing to the Hanoi Stock Exchange in the third quarter of2018 from the market for unlisted public enterprises, or UPCoM. The capital hike plan will help the firm supplement working capital and invest in its software system, manpower and margin lending service.

* CEO Group (CEO) has decided to establish Can Tho South Investment and Development Company with the chartered capital of VND100 billion. CEO will purchase 9.9 million shares to secure a 99%,stake in the enterprise.

* Nguyen Thi Chi Phuong, general director of KSQ Investment Company (KSQ), has acquired 985,000 KSQ shares out of the total volume of two million shares she registered to buy from June 19 to July 13. Phuong has raised her stake from 6.6% to 9.9%.
