* Phat Dat Real Estate Development Company (PDR) will show shareholders a plan to issue 20 million shares at a price not lower than VND25,000 each to raise VND500 billion for its land lot and apartment building projects. PDR also plans to pay a 2018 share dividend at 23%.

* Digiworld Corporation (DGW) has estimated its net profit rose 33% year-on-year to VND16.8 billion in the first two months of this year. Its revenue climbed 29% to VND839 billion in the period. Of the amount, its revenue from selling computers and tablets soared 43% to VND321 billion in the January-February period, while that from selling mobile phones increased 17% to VND345 billion.

* Hang Xanh Motors Service Company (HAX), a major seller of Mercedes Benz in Vietnam, plans to spend VND52.5 billion paying a dividend at VND1,500 per share for 2018. HAX will hold the annual general meeting on March 23. Earlier, the State Securities Commission did not approve HAX’s plan to buy one million treasury shares, said Viet Capital Securities Company.

* Listed companies on the Hanoi Stock Exchange have reported their profits edged up 11.4% compared to 2017 to VND19.9 trillion last year, according to the Vietnam News Agency. Data from the northern market regulator showed seven of 11 sectors made higher profits in 2018 compared to 2017. The financial sector had the highest post-tax profit growth rate among 11 sectors, up 48.7% to D8.6 trillion in 2018 from VND5.8 trillion in 2017.

* Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) plans to sell treasury shares to raise charter capital in 2019. Currently, the bank has over 41.4 million treasury shares. In addition, ACB will propose shareholders approve its plan to sell bonus shares to provide more funding for capital increase. The bank will finalize the list of attending shareholders for the upcoming annual general meeting on March 22.

* Vu Dinh Do, chairman of Dong Nai Plastic Company (DNP), has registered to buy 2.5 million DNP shares from now to April 16, thereby raising his holding at the enterprise from 7.5″0 to 10%.
