* Dairy company FrieslandCampina Vietnam, the owner of Dutch Lady brand, on October 15 cut a deal to set up strategic partnership with Bach Hoa Xanh grocery store chain operator to increase the former’s market share. Under the cooperation, Dutch Lady milk products will be displayed at 1,000 stores of Bach Hoa Xanh, with prices being 10%-15% cheaper than those seen in other outlets.

* Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC (PHR) said in its third-quarter financial report that its net revenue totaled VND589 billion, a year-on-year increase of 68%, with after-tax profit of VND473 billion, up as high as 166%. In the year to September, the rubber firm recorded its revenue up an astounding 31 % versus last-year figure to reach over VND1 trillion, while its nine month after-tax profit soared 64% at VND650 billion.

* Global Asset Business JSC (GAB) has issued a decision to dismiss Pham Thi Thu from her post as chief accountant at the firm since October 18 this year. Meanwhile, Nguyen Quang Thai was chosen to take over the post on the same day.

* No Va Land Investment Group Corporation (NVL) has approved a plan to issue over 18.6 million shares under an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) in the final quarter of the year, at VND10,000 per share. Of this, 17.8 million ESOP shares will be restricted from transfer in the first year since he issuance date.

* Van Phat Hung Corporation (VPH) has passed a plan to transfer 55% of its sake at An Hung Investment-Trade-Service Company to Lotte Land Company. Earlier, VPH owned a 99% stake in An Hung.

* Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC (PNJ) saw its third-quarter net revenue rising over 24% against last-year period, at over VND3.9 trillion, with after-tax profit totaling VND208 billion, up 17%. Also, in the first nine months of the year, the jewelry firm obtained VND806 billion in after-tax profit, up 16% year-on-year.

* Ben Tre Pharmaceutical JSC (BBT) has announced October 30 as the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive dividend in cash at 10%. The record date is October 31 and the payment will be made from November 25.
