* Viet Gia Phu Real Estate Trading and Investment Company, an organization related to Nguyen Thi Phuoc as a board member of Sai Gon – Mien Trung Beer Company (SMB), will buy 612,000 SMB shares from now to February 19. After the transactions, the investor will become a major shareholder at SMB with 1.5 million shares, or a 5.02% stake.

* Dong Phu Rubber Company (DPR) obtained VND805 billion in revenue and VND245.6 billion in after-tax profit last year, up 3% and 20% against the previous year, respectively. The enterprise saw its net. profit jumping 3-fold year-on-year to VND48.4 billion in the last quarter of 2018.

* Military Bank (MBB) plans to buy back over 108 million shares to boost its treasury stock. Transactions will be made from January 29 to February 27. The lender obtained over VND7 trillion in pre-tax profit in 2018, surging by 31 % compared to the previous year.

* Dai Phong Trade and Investment Company, a unit related to Chairman Tran Dinh Long of Hoa Phat Group (HPG), has registered to buy one million shares of the steel company from now to February 20. Currently, the organization has no shares at HPG.

* CNG Vietnam Company (CNG) has announced its financial report for the last quarter of 2018 with revenue surging 43% year-on-year to VND498.6 billion. Its after-tax profit decreased 6.5% at VND29.3 billion.

* Doan Huu Ha Vinh, deputy general director of Ba Ria-Vung Tau House Development Company (HDC), has bought 200,000 HDC shares to raise his stake to 555,000 shares, or 1.1 %.

* HUD3 Investment and Construction Company (HU3) has chosen February 11 as the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive a 2017 final round dividend in cash at 10%. It will make the payment from February 20.

* Son Ha Energy Development Company (SHE) will float five million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange at the initial price of VND20,000. Established in 2005 with a chartered capital of VND4 billion, SHE is a member of Son Ha International Company operating in the renewable energy and equipment sectors. It is now capitalized at VND50 billion.
