* VietJetAviation Company (VJC) has announced that the State Securities Commission had approved its plan to buy back a maximum of 25 million’shares, or a 4.61 % stake, from July 26 to August 23. Vietjet made over VND13.6 trillion in revenue and VND1.6 trillion in pre-tax profit in the first quarter.

* A source from the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) said that an entire amount of some 91.1 million shares of Dabaco Group (DBC) will officially be traded on HOSE at a reference price of VND22,160 from July 26. In early July, DBC received approval to move its shares to HOSE from the Hanoi Stock Exchange. The firm’s revenue rose 20% year-on-year to VND 1. 7 trillion in the first quarter of.2019.

* Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has chosen July 25 as the ex- dividend date to pay a 2018 share dividend of 30%, meaning each shareholder can receive three shares for 10 shares owned.

* Digiworld (DGW) has reported its net revenue amounted to over VND2 trillion in the second quarter of the year, the highest ever, up 46% against the year-ago period. In the first six months of 2019, its total net revenue reached VND3.4 trillion, up 28% year-on-year, whereas it made an after-tax profit of VND60 billion between January and June, soaring 43% year- on – year. These figures met 47% and 44 % of the full- year targets, respectively.

* PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS) has announced in its second quarter financial report that it obtained over VND20.3 trillion in net revenue. It posted after- tax profit of VND3.05 trillion, down 5% year-on- year. In the first six months of the year, its cumulative net revenue inched up 2% to VND38.9 trillion and its after-tax profit added 5% to VND6.1 trillion.

* BaRia Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (BTP) said its revenue rocketed 194.7% to VND469.5 billion in the second quarter of 2019. The firm’s after-tax profit reached VND51 billion, a seven-fold year-on-year increase.

* Tri Viet Asset Management Company, the parent company of Tri Viet Securities Joint Stock Corporation (TVB), has sold two million TVB shares, cutting its holding in TVB to 16.07 million shares, or a 66.17% stake.
