* Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank, or PVcomBank, has launched a VND11 trillion (US$473 million) credit package for individual home and car buyers, household businesses and consumers. The scheme is expected to last until December 2019.

* Century Synthetic Fiber Corporation (STK) said its consolidated first quarter net profit rose 29.37% from a year earlier to VND51.9 billion. Its net revenue inched up 2.76% year-on-year to VND605.22 billion in the quarter.

* The Hochiminh Stock Exchange has decided to delist the stock of Pacific Infrastructure Project Development and Investment Corporation (PPI) due to the company’s losses from 2016 to 2018. Its last trading date is May 17 while its effective delisting date is May 20.

* Truong Nguyen Thien Kim, the wife of To Hai, general director of Viet Capital Securities JSC (VCI), is purchasing two million VCI shares via order-matching and put-through transactions until May 22. If successful, he would raise her holding in the firm to over 8.78 million shares, or 5.39%.

* Southern Gas Trading JSC (PGS) will offer 16.1 million PGS shares in a private placement at VND23,409 each to PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS). If successful, the latter would acquire a total of more than 33.83 million PGS shares, or a combined stake of 51.03%, enabling it to become the holding company of PGS.

* Petrolimex Saigon Transportation and Service JSC (PSC) has chosen May 10 as the record date for the 2018 cash dividend payment of 13.S%. The payment will be made on May 30.

* Pham Thi Minh Trang, vice chairwoman of Dana me co Medical Joint tock Corporation (DNM), has registered to offload all her 500.000 share or an 11.37% stake in DNM, via order-matching and put-through transactions between April 19 and May 17.
