* Vietnam National Petroleum Group (PXL) has announced to sell 20 million treasury shares from July 2 to 31 via order-matching and put-through transactions. If successful, its volume of treasury shares will be reduced to over 103 million. The group had earlier registered to sell 12 million treasury shares from January 7 and February 1 but failed. It was not until March 13 that it could sell the shares at VND59,514 per share, generating more than VND714 billion.

* The Vietnam Securities Depository has transferred nearly 2.5 million shares at FECO Corporation (FCN) from Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Anh to Japan’s Raito Kogyo Co., Ltd The company had been a large shareholder of FECON as it owned more than 19.5 million FCN shares, equivalent to a 17.13 percent stake. The acquisition of nearly 2.5 million FCN shares has helped raise Raito Kogyo’s holding at FECON to 19%. In addition to FECON, the Japanese firm is now holding more than 9.4 million shares, or 36%, of FECON Underground Construction JSC, a FECON subsidiary.

* Nguyen Ho Hung, chair of An Phat Securities Joint Stock Company (APG) has registered to buy one million APG shares from June 26 to July 15 via order-matching and put-through transactions. If the transactions succeed, Hung will hold more than 1.05 million APG shares, or a 3.11 percent stake.

* The Hochiminh Stock Exchange has decided to suspend An Giang Fisheries Import & Export JSC (AGF) from trading shares on the exchange from June 25 a the company has repeatedly violated regulations on information disclosure after it had previously been placed on the surveillance list.

* VNT Holdings JSC, a large shareholder of The Van Cargoes and Foreign Trade Logistics JSC (VNT), has registered to buy 4.75 million VNT shares from June 21 to July 18 via order-matching and put-through transactions. VNT Holdings currently owns over 1.35 million VNT shares, or 11.38%.

* BZZ Invest JSC has offloaded all of it 17.5 million hare at GTNFoods JSC (GTN). Thus, BZZ Invest is no longer a shareholder of GTN. The share buyer remained unknown but the shares were reportedly old at VND 17,500 each, helping BZZ Invest earn some VND306 billion. At present, GTNFoods has three large shareholders, including Vinamilk with 95.85 million shares, West Ocean Invest with more than 70 million shares and Nghiem Van Tung with 12.5 million shares.
