* Vinh Hoan Corporation (VHC) sold its entire 102,000 treasury shares at the average price ofVND101,712 each from November 20 to December 13

via order matching transactions. It gotVND10.4 billion from the share sale. In 2016, VHC purchased the shares at VND29,502 each.

* Nguyen Thanh Trung, vice chairman of Ocean Group (OGC), acquired over 4.2 million OGC shares from November 21 to December 14. He failed to buy five million OGC shares as previously registered due to unfavorable market conditions. Trung now holds 15 million shares in the financial group, equivalent to a 5% stake.

* Binh Dinh Province’s government raised VND16.6 billion from the auction of l.3 million shares of Quy Nhon Urban Environment company on December 2l. The average winning price was VND12,465, higher than the starting price of VND11,990. Capitalized at VND34.3 billion, the firm specializes in waste collection.

* Tri Viet Securities Company (TVB) has chosen December 27 as the record date to issue eight million shares for shareholders at a 1-for-2 ratio. The selling price is set at VND12,OOO. The firm will use the proceeds for business expansion and financial capability improvement.

* Hung Phat Trade Investment and Development Company, a major shareholder ofFPT Securities Company (FTS), has offloaded over 8.5 million FTS shares, or a 7.78% stake.

* Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) has announced 2019 business guidance including revenue ofVND108.5 trillion and after-tax profit ofVND3.6 trillion, both increasing by 21 % from the 2018 targets.

* The State, represented by the Committee for Management of State Capital, has announced that it completed exercising its right to buy 164.7 million shares of Vietnam Airlines (HVN), and thereby maintaining it ownership in HVN at 86.16%, said Viet Capital Securities Company. HVN has raised VND1.9 trillion from this rights issue. According to the national flag carrier, the proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of two Boeing B787 and two Airbus A350-900 aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2018-2019, as well as working capital. HVN plans to list on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange by April 2019 at the latest.
