* Dabaco Group (DBC) has announced in its second quarter financial report that its revenue totaled VND1.6 trillion, dropping slightly against the year-ago period, and its net profit plummeted 91 % year-on-year to VND7.5 billion. The plunge was attributed to African swine fever outbreaks hitting many cities and provinces in Vietnam over the past few months.

* Technology group FPT (FPT) has reported that in the first six months of 2019, its revenue and pre-tax profit rose 22.2% and 26.8%, respectively, year-on-year, to VND12. trillion and VND2.1 trillion.

* PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution JSC (PGD) will spend VND225 billion paying a 2018 cash dividend at 25% for its 90 million outstanding PGD shares. The firm will close its shareholder list on August 5 and make the payment on August 6. The firm had earlier approved a dividend payment of 18% for 2019.

* Vinh Hoan Corporation (VHC) has reported its net revenue at VND2.2 trillion in the second quarter of this year, down 10% year-on-year, but its after-tax profit added 19% to VND392 billion.

* VietFund Management, a shareholder of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), has offloaded more than 692,000 ACB shares, or a 0.06% stake.

* Nguyen Khanh Hung, chairman of the board of directors at LDG Investment Joint Stock Company (LDG), has registered to purchase two million LDG shares between July 29 and August 27 to spur his stake to 10.89%, or over 26.1 million shares.

* Anza JSC, a major shareholder of Ani JSC (SIC), has bought 980,000 SIC shares. After the purchase, the shareholder raised its ownership in SIC to 11.69 million shares, or a 48.72% stake.

* Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Company (TCT) has announced August 1 as the record date to pav a 2019 dividend of 20% in cash, or VND2,000 per share. With over 12.7 million outstanding shares, TCT will spend VND25.5 billion on the payment. The payment date is slated for August 15.

* Vinacomin – North Coal Trading Joint Stock Company (TMB) will close its shareholder list on July 31 to issue bonus shares at the 2:1 ratio and pay a 2018 cash dividend at 7%. With its outstanding 10 million shares, the firm will issue five million new shares worth VND50 billion.
