* Viet Capital Securities Company (VCI) will spend VND120 billion on a cash dividend payout ofVNDl,OOO per share for 2017. The ex-dividend date is July 11 and the expected payment date is July 27. In addition, VCI will issue 42 million bonus shares with a ratio of 35%, so VCl’s registered shareholders holding 10 shares will receive 3.5 new shares. The number of newly issued shares is not subject to transfer restrictions. The firm has also received approval from its shareholders to issue one million shares under an employee stock ownership plan and to raise the foreign ownership limit to 100%.

* Dang Thanh Tam, a younger brother of chairwoman Dang Thi Hoang Yen of Tan Tao Investment and Industry Corporation (ITA), has registered to buy 10 million ITA shares from June 28 to July 27. Once completed, Tam will raise his holding in Tan Tao from 2.3% to 3.1 %. Meanwhile, Yen is holding over 54.3 rnillion ITA shares, or a 5.79% stake.

* Foreign Trade Development & Investment Corporation of HCMC (FDC) expects a consolidated net profit ofVND29. 7 billion in 2018, up 90.6% against last year. The firm targets revenue of over VND413 billion, up 15.7%. It aims for a dividend payout ratio of7% for 2018. FDC plans to complete the administrative procedure for its housing project in HCMC’s Can Gio District by the end of this year.

* Tan Binh Import-Export Corporation (TIX) has received approval to issue 3.6 million shares to its existing shareholders in the second half of this year. TIX plans to issue shares at a ratio of 100-for- ~3.64 at the minimum price ofVND25,000 each. The firm expects to use the proceeds ofVND2.5 trillion from the issuance for its apartment building project, named “Milky Way;’ in HCMC’s Binh Tan District. The firm plans to kick off the construction of the 16-story project in 2019.

* Century 21 Company (C21) will be selling three million of its 4.8 million treasury shares. C21 has assigned Bao Viet Securities Company to conduct the transactions, vhich will be made via put- through from July 2 to 6.
