* Vietcombank (VCB) has sold 2.3 million shares in national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines it acquired during the 2018 rights issue. VCB has not disclosed the share price.

* Saigon General Service Corporation (SVC) targets a pre-tax profit at VND273 billion in 2019, down 17% versus last year, while its revenue is expected to jump 22% at over VND18 trillion. In 2019, the firm strives to expand its retail network and pay a dividend at VND1,500 per share for the year.

* Nhat Viet Securities Company has passed a plan to issue 21 million shares via a private placement, thus raising its registered capital to VND410 billion. The shares will be offered to less than 100 investors and have a lock-up period of one year. It will use the proceeds to supplement i s working capital and invest in a new information technology system.

* Nguyen Trong Minh, deputy general director of Ha Do Group (HDG), will be buying 200,000 HDG shares from now to April 26 to spur its ownership to 0.23%.

* Dong Nai Port Company (PDN) targets a net profit of VND116 billion this year, up 4.6% compared to 2018. Its revenue is expected to reach VND694 billion, up 4.1 %.

* Hanoi Trade Corporation (HAP) is planning to transfer 420,000 shares in Chu Dau Ceramic Company to BRG Group to cut its ownership from 51 % to 30%. Chu Dau JSC is one of 10 affiliates of HAP. The shares, equivalent to 21 % of the company’s total, will be sold for VND13,500 each, or VND5.67 billion of the total. The transfer will be conducted within three months.

* Pawnshop chain F88 has successfully raised a new round of financing from Dublin-based investor Granite Oak Advisors. The new investment will b used to expand the chain of F88 stores in HCMC and increase its lending book. In the last quarter of 2018, F88 also signed strategic cooperation contracts with Payoo payment gateway, Momo e-wallet, and Post & Telecom Insurance Company, allowing customers to make bill payments, transfer and withdraw money and buy insurance at all F88 stores.
