* Saigon Water Infrastructure Company (SII) has announced to halt a scheme to issue 37.4 million shares for existing shareholders at VND16,900. The firm earlier set the issuance ratio at 58-for-100, aiming at increasing its chartered capital from VND 1.4 trillion to around VND2 trillion. The SII price is hovering around VND20,800 per share on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange.

* FLC Group has decided to invest an additional VND200 billion in Ion Complex Building Management and Investment Company, taking to VND396 billion its total investment in the enterprise, equal to a 99% stake.

* NHP Investment Company has sold over 2.3 million shares of Truong Giang Investment and Construction Company (TGG), cutting its ownership to 2.3 million shares, or 8.48%.

* VLCC Company, a unit related of Do Thi Phuong Lan, a board member of Vietnam Electrical Equipment Corporation (GEX), has registered to buy 550,000 GEX shares from now to November 23. Once completed, VLCC will raise its stake at GEX to 3.4 million shares, or 0.84%.

* Petrolimex Insurance Company (PGI) reported nearly VND2 trillion in insurance premium revenue between January and September, up 12.1% over the same period last year. Its pre- tax profit added 7.6% to over VND 130 billion in the period.

* Truong Thanh Real Estate and Construction Company (TEG) has decided to buy an additional 4.1 million shares, or a 16.4% stake, of Quang Phu Energy Joint Stock Company, at no higher than VND10,000 per share. The plan will be conducted in the last quarter of2018.

* Create Capital Vietnam Company (CRC) has announced November 1 as the record date to pay a cash dividend for shareholders at 5%.

* Danang House Investment and Development Company (NDN) will close its shareholder list on October 30 to advance a 2018 cash dividend for shareholders at 10%, meaning shareholders will receive VND1,000 for every share owned. NDN is expected to spend D44.4 billion on the payment given its current outstanding volume of 44.4 million shares.

* Thanh Loi Investment Company has bought nearly two million shares of Dana-Y Steel Company (DNY) to raise its holding from 40.2% to 47.6%.
