* Vietnam Pesticide Company (VPS) has issued 6.9 million shares to increase its equity, sending its total outstanding volume rising to 24.4 million shares. The new shares will be tradable on December 14.

* Tan Tao University Corporation will acquire 10 million shares of Tan Tao Investment and Industry Corporation (ITA) to increase its stake by 1.1 percentage points to 7.9 percent between December 6 and January 2.

* Tan Tam Ma Investment Company has registered to sell 8.9 million shares of Hochiminh City Infrastructure Investment Company (CII) to cut its ownership to 6.1 million shares (2.5 percent) over one month starting from December 7.

* Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Company (TCT) has announced December 13 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2016 first round dividend of 17 percent in cash for shareholders. Payments will be made on December 28.

* Phu Tai Company (PTB) said it would build a wood processing plant in Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province with a designed capacity of2!i,000-45,000 cubic meters of products a year. The enterprise said it would invest around VND120-130 billion in the facility as part of a plan to expand operation and meet customer demand in the years to come, according to vietstock.vn.

* Realty developer Van Phat Hung Corporation (VPH) has issued 6.9 million shares for shareholders,’ raising its total outstanding volume to 52.9 million shares. The new shares will be tradable on December 9.

* Saigon Securities Inc. said it has registered to buy 386,300 shares of The Pan Group Company (PAN) until the end of December to raise its holding from 13.5 percent to nearly 13.7 percent. PAN plans to issue 1.5 million’shares at VND10,000 each for its employees at 1.49 percent.

* Lam Thieu Quan, a board member of Innovative Technology Development Corporation (ITD), will be buying 260,000 ITD shares to revise up his holding to over 407,600 shares (2.1  percent) between December 8 and January 6, 2017.

* Transimex Corporation will acquire 388,600 shares ofVinafreight Company (VNF) to increase its ownership by 6.9 percentage points to 51. 7 percent in one month starting from December 6.

* The management of the Saigon Hi- Tech Park in District 9, HCM City on Tuesday handed away an investment permit on a $20 million project to build an Eastern Saigon trade and services centre to a local construction company.

* Vietnamese airlines have conducted more than 228,000 flights in the Jan-November period of 2016, with a rise of 37,000 flights against the same period last year, according to a report by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam. Up to 36,844 flights were delayed and 1,605 were cancelled, which are also higher than last year’s.
