* Sao Vang Rubber Company (SRC) said it would use VND28.1 billion to pay a 2016 dividend of VND1,000 per share on the record date of December 19. Payments are slated for December 30. In January-September, SRC’s revenue fell over 9 percent year-on-year to VND661.3 billion and its net profit dipped 15 percent to VND53.05 billion.

* Coteccons Construction Company (CTD) has issued 11.47 million shares for its strategic investors, raising its total outstanding volume to 77.05 million shares. The new shares will be tradable on November 22, 2017.

* Imexpharm Corporation (IMP), one of the leading drug makers in Vietnam, said it plans to issue 8.6 million shares to raise its chartered capital by 30.1  percent to VND376 billion. IMP wants to sell the shares to existing shareholders at a 100:30 ratio at VND45,000 each, the firm said on its website. The company plans to use the proceeds to invest in its plant and add working capital. In the first nine months of this year, IMP attained revenue of VND622 billion, up slightly from a year earlier, and net profit of VND64 billion, down 10 percent.

* Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) said it has increased its stake in Vietnam Infrastructure Investment & Development Company (VIID) from 46.37 percent to 50.61  percent. VIID was established in May 2008 by State Capital Investment Corporation and REE, and has chartered capital of VND410 billion.

* Duc Thanh Wood Processing Company (GDT) will spend VND21.4 billion paying a 2016 second round dividend of VND1,500 per share. The company will make payments by the end of this year. In January-September, GDT saw its revenue rising 7 percent year-on-year to VND226.3 billion and its net profit leaping 34 percent to VND53.8 billion, Viet Capital Securities Company reports.

* Consultancy Design & Urban Development Company (CDO) said its total outstanding volume now climbs to 31.5 million shares after the firm issued 8.5 million shares for shareholders. The new shares will be available for trading on December 16.

* Nguyen Quoc Truong, a board member of VCS Advanced Quartz Stone Company (VCS), has registered to sell his entire stake of 92,192 VCS shares (0.15 percent) from December 12 to 30.
