* Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam saw strong production growth which exceeded the year’s target by nearly 6 percent and 2012′s growth by 20%, according to executive chair Katsuyasu Kato. Besides, the company targets to earn beverage revenue of USS1 billion this year.

* Supermarket chain Citimart has opened the 26th Citimart supermarket at Rung Co Apartments in Ecoparkurban area in Hung Yen Province. The supermarket having an area of over 1,000 square meters sells over 20,000 products and is providing a number of special offers to customers until January 29.

* CyberAgent Ventures under Japan’s CyberAgent has announced its investment in the e-commerce website of DKT Technology Co. Launched in April, 2010, Bizweb has over 4,000 customers operating in 30 different sectors.

* Mobile network supplier VinaPhone has reported to earn nearly VND30 trillion in revenue last year. VinaPhone has over 32,000 transceiver stations and targets to achieve a growth rate of 12 percent this year.

* Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group will start work on An Lao yarn-weaving- dyeing complex in the northern port city of Hai Phong in this quarter. Having an investment of VND2.2 trillion, the project is expected to have annual revenue of over VND3.7 trillion and create jobs for nearly 5,000 people.

* Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation has registered to buy three million shares of Thac Mo Hydropower Company (TMP) to raise its holding from 35.5 percent to 39.7%.

* Individual investor Phan Minh Hoan has bought 200,000 shares of Pacific Property and Infrastrucrure Development and Investment Company (PPI) to secure a 10.4 percent stake in the enterprise.               .

* Domesco Medical Import- Export Company (DMC) has plans to issue 8.9 million new shares to existing shareholders as bonus given at a 2-for-l ratio on the record date of January 2l.

* Tien Len Steel Corporation (TLH) has approved a plan to mobilise capital from founding shareholders to supplement its working capital. The enterprise expects to raise VND250 billion this year, VND200 billion in 2015 and VND150 billion in 2016.

* Binh Duong Construction and Civil Engineering Company (BCE) targets to gain VND800 billion in revenue and VND45 billion in after-tax profit in 2014, slightly higher than those projected for last year at VND748 billion and VND44 billion respectively.

* Saigon Garment Manufacturing Trade Company (GMC) has announced to pay 2013 second cash dividend at VND1,000 each share. The enterprise will close the shareholder record list on February 24 and make payment on March 10.

* Dong Phu Rubber Company (DPR) estimated a pre- tax profit of VND340 billion in 2013, a 37.5 percent year-on-year fall. Its revenue was expected to drop 15.4 percent to over VND1.1 trillion. The average sale price of rubber latex during last year plunged to VND52.9 million a tonne compared to VND62.1 million a tonne in 2012.

* Ba Ria-VungTau House Development Company (HOC) has decided to pay 2012 dividend in cash for shareholders at 10%. Payment will be made within next month.

* Vinafreight International Freight Forwarders Company (VNF) has announced January 14 as the ex-dividend date to advance 2013 first round dividend in cash for shareholders at 6%.

* Nojima Corporation has acquired over 652,000 shares of  Tran Anh Digital World Company (TAG) to raise its holding from 5.6 percent to over 11%.
