* Electronic supermarket chain Dienmay.com last week opened a supermarket at 241 Tran Hung Dao Street in Binh Thuan Province’s Phan Thiet City, raising the chain’s total number of such facilities nationwide to 13. On this occasion, Dienmay.com is providing a number of special offers to customers until January 19.

* Viet Trust Technology Development and Investment Company and Fujiton Color Coating Steel Company have opened the Tonmat Thai Binh roofing sheet factory and the Fujiton warehouse in Thai Binh Province. The factory worth over VND10 billion can produce 300,000 square meters of roofing sheet per year.

* Viglacera Corporation will export the first shipment of ceramic tiles to Indonesia this month. Earlier, Viglacera signed a deal with Indonesia’s PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk to export ceramic tiles to the market with a total value of some $8 million per year.

* Metro is offering discounts of 5-49 percent on over 2,000 products until January 15 at its wholesale centers nationwide. Besides, Metro will open Tet markets, whose main products are vegetables and fruits, at all centers from January 12-3l.

* Donaco International has signed an agreement to buy an additional 20 percent stake in Lao Cai International Hotel (Lao Cai Province) and raise its capital contribution to 95%. The rest of the stake is held by Sapa

Petroleum Tourism Company.

* Trinh Van Quyet, chair of FLC Group Company (FLC), has acquired over 2.2 million FLC shares to hold a 10.6 percent stake in the enterprise.

* Iorn Silkkitie Investment Fund has bought over 527,000 shares of Saigon general Service Corporation (SVC) to raise its holding from 3 percent to 5.2%. In a related development, the enterprise has decided to contribute VND21 billion to establish Savico Danang Joint Stock Company and hold a 70 percent stake in the latter.

* HCM City Securities Corporation (HCM) has got approval to float an additional 25.2 million shares on the southern bourse.

* Pan Pacific Corporation has offloaded 5.2 million shares of An Giang Fisheries Import & Export Company (AGF), or a 20.3 percent stake in the latter.

* Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation (TTF) has received approval to float 14.4 million new shares on the bourse. Of the amount, 8.86 million shares will start trading on January 10 and the remaining 5.58 million on November 27. The shares were previously sold to existing shareholders and strategic partners. The additional listing will help the company raise its total outstanding volume to 88 million shares.

* Vegetable Oil Packing Company (VPK) targets a net profit of VND26 billion this year, a 45.8 percent fall from the estimated figure in 2013. Its revenue is aimed at VND385 billion, 1.3 percent higher than that estimated for last year.

* Ninh Binh Phosphate Fertiliser Joint Stock Company has obtained approval to float 10.4 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.

* Asia- Pacific Investment Company has offloaded over 1.4 million shares of Song Da 7 Company (SD7) to reduce its holding from 20 percent to 3.8%.

* Vinafreight International Freight Forwarders Company (VNF) has announced January 16 as the record date to advance 2013 first round dividend in cash for shareholders at 6%. Payment will be made on January 24.

* Tran Anh Digital World Company (TAG) has sold over 652,000 treasury shares at over VND49,000 each.

* Wall Street Securities Company has bought over 386,000 shares of Vietnam National general Export – Import Company No.1 (TH1) to secure a 6.4 percent stake in the latter.
