* Cho Lon Real Estate JSC (RCL)’s BOD decided to pay 2013 first cash dividend in May of this year for the shareholder list closed on March 21 at VND800/share.

* Vinacomin – Nui Beo Coal JSC. (NBC) announces to hold 2014 Annual general Meeting (AGM) on March 20 at its worker sport-culture house, Column 5, Hong Ha ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province. The meeting is expected to pass reports of the Board of directors and the Board of Supervisors, 2013 business results, 2014 operation plans, profit distribution, 2014 auditing firm and other contents.

* PetroVietnam Power Services JSC (PPS) announces to hold 2014 Annual general Meeting (AGM) on April 25 on the floor 7, HH3 building, My Dinh urban area, Me Tri, Tu Liem, Hanoi.

* Ha Long Canned Food Stock Corporation (CAN) announces the change of key personnel as follows: The company has appointed Nguyen Hong Nam as its new chief accountant to replace Pham Thi Thu Nga who will be deputy general director in charge of foods in the north.

* Hanoi Education Investment and Development JSC. (EID)’s BOD decided to hold 2014 Annual general Meeting (AGM) on April 11 at the hall on floor 12, HEID building, alley 12, Lang Ha, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

* Ha Giang Mineral and Mechanics JSC. (HGM)’s BOD decided to buy 300,000 treasury shares from March to May at the price not higher than VND67,000/share.

* Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism JSC. (PDC)’s BOD decided to target a pre-tax profit of VND5 billion on revenue of VND144.6 billion in 2014.

* Song Da No 5 JSC. (SD5) announces the resolution of BOD on March 6 with the following contents: The company targets a net profit of VND46.1 billion on revenue of VND1.44 trillion and a dividend payout at VND1,000/share while reporting VND45.9 billion net profit and VND2 trillion in 2013.

* On Semiconductor Co., Ltd last week opened an expanded factory after spending $75 million upgrading the old one.

* BecamexTokyuBus Co., Ltd, a joint venture between Japan’s Tokyu and BecamexBinh Duong Corporation, has got a license to operate two environmentally friendly bus routes between Thu Dau Mot City and Binh Duong New City in the southern province of Binh Duong. The $2 million venture will start operating its buses fuelled by compressed natural gas from May this year.

* Tran Anh Digital World Joint Stock Company plans to open five more electronics stores this year after seven outlets came into operation in Hanoi last year. The firm looks to fetch around VND2.44 trillion in revenue and over VND7 billion in after-tax profit this year.

* Vietnam National Chemical Group has registered to sell nearly 823,000 shares of Viet Duc Welding Electrode Company (QSD), or a 19.3 percent stake in the latter, from March 13 to April 11.

* Viet Cat Fund Management Joint Stock Company has acquired 2.4 million shares of PetroVietnam Securities Inc. (PSI) to spur its holding from 7.9 percent to 11.9%.

* Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Company (TCT) will float an additional 3.2 million shares on the northern bourse on March 18, raising its total outstanding volume to nearly 6.4 million shares.

* Lucerne Enterprise Ltd has bought over 267,000 shares of Song Da Infrastructure Construction (SDH) to raise its ownership from 10 percent to 11.3%.

* BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) targets a consolidated pre-tax profit of VND 130 billion this year, up 3.5 percent year-on-year, with insurance premiums aimed at VND1 trillion, excluding figures of its affiliates. The company plans to pay a dividend of at least 10 percent of the par value for 2014. This year, it expects to select foreign strategic shareholders and raise its registered capital from the current VND660 billion.

* Sao Ta Foods Company (FMC) will pay a provisional dividend of VNDl,500 each share for 2013 on the record date of March 21. It will make payments on April 20. The firm made a net profit of VND32.6 billion last year, jumping 5.4-fold from a year earlier, thanks to the fall in financial cost, while its revenue surged 42.4 percent year-on- year to VND2.2 trillion.

* Saigon Petro Company has registered to buy 250,000 shares of Materials Petroleum Company (COM) to scale up its ownership from 33.2 percent to 35%.

* Vietnam Investment Fund has offloaded three million shares of Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation (TTF) to reduce its holding from 8.1 percent to 4.1%. It has registered to sell the remaining stake totalling around three million shares from tomorrow to April 9.

* Hau Giang Province’s Department of Planning and Investment has proposed cancelling a hotel-apartment-commercial centre project owned by Hau Giang Advanced International Company in Vi Thanh City. The VND 1.2 trillion project has come to a virtual standstill after the ground breaking ceremony in late 2009.
