Seven weekend farmers’ markets at GO!/Big C and nearly 10 seasonal speciality promotion weeks, on Sa Pa Salmon, Bac Giang Lychee, Dong Thap Pangasius, have been organised in the past year.

The event “Made in Vietnam Essence of Vietnam” that took place in October last year was designed to promote high-quality Vietnamese products to consumers across the country. The event attracted the participation of about 100 businesses from Vietnam’s key commodities such as coffee, tea, cashew nuts, pepper, seafood, textiles, footwear and backpacks. Along with cultural and artistic activities, the event promoted the campaign “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods”, launched by the Vietnamese government.
