IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cylance®
Inc., the company that revolutionized cybersecurity through the use of
artificial intelligence to proactively prevent advanced persistent
threats and malware, today announced that it has received top honor at Interop
Tokyo 2017
. CylancePROTECT®
received the Special Jury Award for Best of Show in the Security
Product category. The Special Jury Award was presented to Cylance Japan
by a judging panel of IT industry experts who carried out a rigorous
examination of products and solutions exhibited by over 100 companies at
Interop Tokyo 2017.

“We chose CylancePROTECT as Special Jury Award because it utilizes a
proper AI mathematical model among many other AI security products, and
it supports not only Windows but other operating systems,” said Kazumasa
Kobayashi, member of the Interop Tokyo 2017 Award Judging Committee and
visiting professor at Keio University, Graduate School of Media and
Governance.

“We are very honored to receive this award for CylancePROTECT, the only
endpoint solution that received the award in the security product
category,” said Morihiro Kinjo, vice president of Japan sales at Cylance.

Each year at Interop Tokyo, one of Asia’s largest network computing
trade shows, the awards recognize the most innovative products,
solutions and services among hundreds of nominated submissions. This
year, the event attracted more than 140,000 attendees and featured
keynote addresses, a conference program and an expo area for vendor
showcases.

Cylance products and services proactively prevent and protect against
malicious actors, enabling a level of security that far exceeds the
effectiveness of solutions deployed throughout enterprises, government,
and institutions worldwide. CylancePROTECT stops malicious software that
is not detected by other technologies, without requiring a cloud
connection or frequent updates, and all while using a fraction of the
system resources associated with legacy antivirus software.
