Gigabyte today unveiled the full lineup of the company’s latest 9 Series motherboards, based on Intel’s new Z97 and H97 chipsets, at a launch event in Kuala Lumpur.

Gigabyte’s 9 series motherboards offer great compatibility as they fully support the 4th and 5th generation Intel Core (Socket 1150) processors. The new motherboards include the G1 Gaming series for elite gamers, Ultra Durable series that exemplifies long-term durability, Ultra Durable Black Edition series with a reassuring 5-years warranty, and Overclocking series for overclocking enthusiasts.

Perhaps the most interesting addition to the family is the new Black Edition series, which according to Gigabyte underwent additional 168 hours of stress testing before they are shipped to consumers to ensure premium quality and optimum performance. The factory is located in Nanping, Taiwan, and every motherboard that passed the test will receive a Certificate of Validation that is signed by the manufacturing VP and GM to indicate that each board has passed their highest standards.

The G1 Gaming motherboards offer one of the best audio components for gaming, as they are equipped with AMP-UP audio technology, which provides the industry’s highest level of onboard audio features and technologies to deliver crisp, ultra-realistic sound effects and richest possible sound experience. With the Killer E2200 Ethernet port, each motherboard is fitted with high-performance, adaptive gigabit Ethernet controller that offers better gaming and online media performance, compared to standard solutions.

Gigabyte also offers OC-friendly motherboards, namely the Ultra Durable and G1 Gaming motherboards. Features include OC Ignition, OC DIMM, OC PCIe Switch, OC Brace, OC touch and OC PEG to achieve the best overclock capability. Gigabyte also provides multi-GPU support for the enthusiasts who want to use multiple graphic cards for up to 4-way CrossFire and SLI configurations.
