Indonesia’s September retail sales up 0.7pct annually

Retail sales in Indonesia increased 0.7 percent in September, slower compared with an annual growth rate of 1.1 percent a month earlier, a central bank survey showed on Wednesday.

Retail sales were mainly driven by automotive spare parts and accessories as well as other household goods.

The survey predicted retail sales would rise 2.9 percent on an annual basis in October.
