Melia Hotels in Vietnam awarded 2019 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Melia Hanoi, Melia Danang Beach Resort, and Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat receive Certificates from leading travel review site.

Three Melia Hotels & Resorts in VietnamMelia Hanoi, Melia Danang Beach Resort, and Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreathave received Certificates of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

This year’s Certificate was a first for Melia Danang Beach Resort, a 264-room property with four restaurants, an infinity pool, a YHI Spa, and a state-of-the-art gym.

Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat also won its first Certificate of Excellence, after opening in 2018. The resort has 55 rooms, including 12 bungalows and three villas. In its first year, it was named “The Best Annual Overseas Hotel” in the 2018 Voyage Best Hotel & Resort Value Awards.

The longest-standing Melia in VietnamMelia Hanoialso won recognition from TripAdvisor as one of the “Top 25 Luxury HotelsVietnam”. Open since 1999 and in the heart of the capital, the hotel has 306 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art business centre.

TripAdvisor is the leading travel review website in the world and its Certificate of Excellence is based on real opinions and experiences and requires a minimum rating of four points out of five. The US-based organisation presents Certificates to approximately 10 per cent of businesses on its platform. There is no application process for the accolade.

In all, 185 Melia hotels around the world have received Certificates. The hotel group recently carried out a project to transform the way it relates with customers, improving its digital experience and personalising the entire customer journey. With its new omnichannel Experience Contact Centre, customers receive more agile and efficient service, which is also expected to have a positive impact on guest satisfaction.

Vietnam is one of the most important markets in the Asia-Pacific within the development strategy of Melia Hotels International. In addition to Melia Ho Tram Beach Resort, which opened in April, the Group will soon be operating Melia Ninh Binh, Melia Hoi An, Melia Saigon Central, Melia Cam Ranh Bay, and Melia Phu Quoc.
