Paragon, VivoCity and IKEA among public places visited by COVID-19 cases

Businesses at three Orchard Road malls and [email protected] Square, and IKEA were among the additional public places recently visited by COVID-19 cases in the community, according to a list published by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday (5 January).

The list of new places visited by the cases are:

[email protected] Square (238 Thomson Road)• Cedele Bakery Cafe

IKEA Alexandra (317 Alexandra Road)

Paragon (290 Orchard Road)• Prive Paragon

[email protected] (313 Orchard Road)• ZARA

Wheelock Place (501 Orchard Road)• Cedele All Day Dining

Paragon (290 Orchard Road)• Mayoral

VivoCity (1 Harbourfront Walk)• Cedele Bakery Cafe

Parkway Parade (80 Marine Parade)• Kids Fashion Bazaar

The Dragon Chamber (2 Circular Road)

Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified by MOH.

As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
