Parkway Parade added as public venue visited by COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that Parkway Parade is one of the public places visited by confirmed COVID-19 cases.

In a news release on Sunday (31 May), the MOH said persons who visited Parkway Parade on 20 May, from 3pm to 4pm, should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms such as cough, sore throat and runny nose, as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

The other places visited by COVID-19 cases, as previously announced by the MOH, include the NTUC Fairprice outlet at Taman Jurong Shopping Centre, the FairPrice Xtra outlet, NTUC Fairprice outlet and the Japanese Food Street at Jurong Point, Block 505 market and food centre at Jurong West, Fairprice Finest at Bukit Panjang Plaza, NTUC Fairprice at Hillion Mall, the wet market at Block 963 Jurong West Street 91, Don Don Donki outlets at 100AM and JEM, Mayflower Market and Food Centre at 162 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4, FairPrice Finest and Food Junction at Junction 8, NTUC FairPrice at 414 Yishun Ring Road, and Giant at 418 Yishun Avenue 11.

The MOH reported 518 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Sunday noon, bringing the total to 34,884.
