Philippines sells P13.5 billion worth of T-bills, below offer

The Bureau of Treasury awarded a total of P13.5 billion worth of treasury bills at an auction on Monday, below its P15 billion offer, data showed.

The Treasury awarded P2.5 billion worth of 91-day T-bills, below its P4 billion offer, at an average interest rate of 3.549 percent, higher than the previous auction’s 3.225 percent.

It fully awarded its P5 billion offer of 182-day T-bills at an average interest rate of 4.353 percent, higher than the previous auction’s 4.101 percent.

It also fully awarded its P6 billion offer of 364-day T-bills at an average interest rate of 5.137 percent, higher than the previous auction’s 4.899 percent.
