Sacombank has given gifts worth a total of over (US$307,580) to disadvantaged people living in 52 cities and provinces this month to help them celebrate Tet (the Lunar New Year) as part of its ‘Warm Spring 2022′ programme.

Over 19 years, it has spent over VND77.5 billion ($3.41 million) on the programme.

It also recently gave VND2 billion to the HCM City Fund for the Poor to enable poor families to celebrate the New Year.

The bank organises regular social campaigns including blood donation, building community houses for ethnic minorities, scholarships, and funding cancer treatment for poor children.

Last year, it donated more than VND375 billion ($16.5 million) for combating COVID-19 and its consequences, and to social security programmes initiated by the government, the State Bank of Vietnam and others.
