The University Medical centre in HCM City and mobile payment company MoMo on October 10 signed an agreement to promote cashless Unipayments at the hospital, said the Vietnam News Agency. MoMo will support the hospital in terms of technology solutions for transactions using digital wallets and mobile apps. MoMo e-wallet users now can pay their hospital bills using their mobile devices.

HCM City Hoa Binh Construction Group (HBC) plans to raise $50 million from a corporate bond sale to settle short-term debts, increase working capital and invest in overseas projects. The plan will be submitted to shareholders at the next annual meeting for approval. Last month, HBC set up a joint venture investment fund with Singaporean firm Infinity Blockchain Group to develop real estate projects in Vietnam and other markets.

HCM City SeABank has raised its charter capital to VND9.37 trillion from VND7.7 trillion through share issuance. The capital hike will help improve the bank’s financial capability, expand its network, improve technology and facilities, and diversify products and services to meet the demand of customers. SeABank now has 165 banking units in the country.

HCM City Vietcombank (VCB) has got approval from the State Bank of Vietnam to open a branch in Sydney, Australia within the next 12 months. The branch has a capital of 71 million Australian dollars.

HCM City Real estate developer Novaland Group (NVL) has opened a real estate centre in Hanoi City to connect the company with investors in the northern region. The centre will offer a comprehensive service to customers including after-sales, leasing and transferring services.

HCM City Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Company (SCR) plans to issue 27.1 million shares to pay a dividend at an 8-for-100 ratio for 2018 in the fourth quarter of this year. The issuance will help SCR raise its registered capital to over VND3.6 trillion.

HANOI Tien Phong Plastic Company (NTP) will close its shareholder list to issue 8.92 million shares for bonus giving at a 10-for-100 ratio on October 28.
