FPT Corporation (FPT) saw its revenue and after-tax profit in the third quarter of the year rising over 17 percent and 30 percent against year-ago period to reach VND7.1 trillion and VND1.3 trillion, respectively. For the first nine months of the year, the local tech company earned over VND19.5 trillion in revenue and VND3.5 trillion in after-tax profit, both soaring by 20 percent and 28 percent, respectively.

HCM CitySouthern Seed Corporation (SSC) has adjusted its business plan for 2019, with revenue and after-tax profit being revised downward to nearly VND620 billion and roughly VND76.5 billion from the previous targets of VND720 billion and VND93.5 billion, respectively. Also, the firm will pay a 2018 cash dividend at 20 percent for shareholders from November 30. It will close the shareholder list on November 7.

HCM CityKiwoom Vietnam Tomorrow Securities Master Fund has registered to buy 300,000 shares of Khang Dien House Trading and Investment JSC (KDH) from October 22 to November 20. Before the transactions, the South Korean investment fund owned no KDH shares, according to

HCM CityPetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS) said that it earned over VND19 trillion in net sales during the third quarter of the year, up 3 percent year-on-year, while its after-tax profit fell over 10 percent to some VND2.9 trillion. The leading oil and gas firm attributed the fall to the fact that the average oil prices in the quarter dipped 18 percent to $61.94 per barrel.

HCM CityOctober 31 has been selected as the ex-dividend date for shareholders of Cuu Long Fish JSC (ACL) to receive a 2019 cash dividend at 15 percent, with the record date being November 1. The payment will be made from November 11.

HCM CityHoang Anh Dung, general director and a board member at Ninh Van Bay Travel Real Estate JSC (NVT), failed to purchase 25 million NVT shares between September 18 and October 17 as resgistered. He currently holds a mere 51,420 NVT shares, or a 0.05 percent stake.

HANOIBCG Group Investment JSC, an organisation related to Nguyen Hoang Linh as board chair at IDJ Vietnam Investment JSC (IDJ), bought 301,000 IDJ shares from August 15 to September 16, to spur its ownership at IDJ to over 1.66 million shares, or a 5.09 percent stake.
