Hoang Anh Gia Lai Agricultural JSC (HNG) announced that its board of directors agreed to further sell 221,688 convertible bonds worth a combined VND2.2 trillion, or VND10 million each, to Truong Hai Auto Corporation (Thaco). With the ratio of 1:1,000, Thaco can convert these bonds into 221.688 million shares after one year. The move is expected to help Thaco set a solid foothold in the agricultural sector. Earlier in June, HNG offered 221,710 convertible bonds to its existing shareholders, but only sold 22 bonds, or a trivial 0.01 percent.

HCM City FLC Group JSC (FLC), the owner of Vietnam’s newly-approved air carrier Bamboo Airways, will issue 27.31 million shares to pay a dividend at the 25-for-1 ratio for 2017 as of August 15. Currently, the firm has 682.7 million outstanding shares. Earlier, FLC invested an additional VND600 billion in Bamboo Airways, raising the airline’s registered capital to over VND1.3 trillion. In 2018, FLC has aimed for a pre-tax profit of VND980 billion on revenue of VND14 trillion, up 77 percent and 20 percent year-on-year, respectively.

HCM City Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, wife of the deputy general director at Vietnam-Italy Steel JSC (VIS), will be selling her entire holding of 24,044 VIS shares or 0.03 percent of the firm’s charter capital, via matching and put-through transactions from August 8 to 31.

HCM City Ha Do Group JSC (HDG) will issue more than 11.3 million additional shares at an 100:15 ratio to spur its capital. The record date is August 8. Besides, the company will give call options for its existing shareholders to buy over 7.5 million shares at a 100:10 ratio.

HCM City VOF Investment Ltd, a member of VinaCapital, has offloaded one million shares of Phu Nhuan Jewellery JSC (PNJ) to cut its holding from 2.72 percent to 2.1 percent, or over 3.4 million shares. Foreign investors now hold a combined stake of 8.78 percent in PNJ.

HANOI Hai Phong Hoang Ha Paper JSC (HHP) will start trading 10 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange this Wednesday, August 8, at the reference price of VND12,600 each.

HANOI Mien Trung Power Investment and Development JSC (SEB) will issue an extra 11.9 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange in a bid to spur its capital.
