International Finace Corp and IFC Capitalisation Fund, L. P, a group of large shareholders of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank For Industry and Trade (CTG), sold over 18.93 million and 36.77 million CTG shares, respectively. After the sales, the group’s holding in the bank fell from over 241.5 million shares to 185.79 million shares, or from 6.48 percent to 4.99%. The ownership change took effect from January 8.

HCM CityThe management board of Hung Thinh Incons JSC (HTN) dismissed Do Anh Tu from the post of general director from January 13. Tu’s current holding is 100,000 HTN shares, or a 0.3 percent stake in the company. Tran Tien Thanh was chosen as Tu’s replacement on the same day.

HCM CityLuong Tri Thinh, chair of Dat Xanh Group JSC (DXG), purchased three million DXG shares from December 27 to January 9 via order-matching and put-through deals, increasing his ownership in the firm to over 63.18 million shares, or a 12.15 percent stake.

HCM CityHung Vuong Joint Stock Corporation (HVG) has completed the sale of five million treasury shares between December 11 and January 9, with each share priced at VND8,000 on average. This is the entire volume of treasury shares that it had.

HCM CityLe Duc Hieu, a large shareholder of Thien Nam Trading Import Export Corporation (TNA), sold 1.43 million TNA shares from January 2 to 10 to cut his holding in the firm from around 2.09 million shares to some 1.63 million shares.

HANOIVNT Holdings JSC, a large shareholder of The Van Cargoes and Foreign Trade Logistics JSC (VNT), has registered to buy over 3.32 million VNT shares from January 16 to February 11 via order-matching and put-through transactions. VNT Holdings currently owns over 2.77 million VNT shares, or a 23.36 percent stake.

HANOICan Tho Pesticides JSC (CPC) has announced January 22 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2019 first round cash dividend of 10%. The record date is January 30 and the payment date is slated for March 12.
